Mit einem Straßenpreis von derzeit rund 850 € erhält man ein Gaming-Display, das auch abseits des Spielbetriebs eine gute Figur macht. Kriterium darstellt, hätte uns nicht dazu bewegt eine Abwertung vorzunehmen Selbst die sehr schlechte Farbreinheit, von der man subjektiv nichts sieht und nur bei einem Grafik-Monitor ein K.o. Als Gaming Monitor kann hier nur eine sehr gute Wertung herausspringen. Die Performance im Spielbetrieb ist anderen Displays erneut eine Nasenlänge voraus, was den Preis auf jeden Fall rechtfertigt.
The addition of nVidias GSYNC technology only enhances the end user experience and you're left with a monitor which fills your vision with eye candy in both the literal and figurative senses of the word. The colour reproduction is fantastic, the viewing angles are excellent, and no matter how hard we push it we don't see any ghosting. It's probably the monitor that we'd recommend above all others, to the point that we wish everyone in our offices could have them. The Racing profile is really well calibrated, the colors are balanced and the response times in line with the counterpart.The single ROG Swift PG279 is one of our favourite monitors on the market. Trying this monitor also for a long time I had the feeling of having well spent the 189 euros. Personally I found the build quality of the VG249Q on a completely different level, including Square-based stands that offer a much more refinedĮxcellent alternative to AOC products not only in function of the price (sometimes lower than the latter), but also for the experience.
